I like and own quite a few old school scents and the surprise is that I don't have anything that quite smells like Black Suede already. Black Suede also has a whole line of flankers with more youthful and updated scent profiles if you are not a fan of the old school original and some of the flankers are actually quite good as well. The problem with Avon scents is not that they don't smell pleasant, it's that they are absolutely horrible in performance and in longevity with Black Suede being one of the very rare exceptions.
