Installing Pura Fragrance: A Step-By-Step Guide

Create an account

Connect to WiFi

To connect your Pura fragrance diffuser to WiFi and complete the setup, follow these steps:

First, download and launch the Pura app on your smartphone and sign in or create an account. Once you've signed in, click the "Set Up Diffuser" button. Choose the type of diffuser you are setting up—in this case, the Pura 4 Diffuser. Ensure your diffuser is plugged into the desired outlet and placed in an upright position.

The app will now search for your diffuser. If it is not found, enable Bluetooth permissions on your phone and try again. Once your diffuser is found, select "Continue."

Now, choose your desired WiFi network. Please note that it needs to be a 2.4 GHz WiFi network. Enter the WiFi password, being mindful that it is case-sensitive, and then press "Continue" to connect.

If you encounter a "No WiFi Networks Found" screen, move your diffuser to an open area closer to your network access point and attempt to connect again.

Once successfully connected to WiFi, your diffuser will light up with a green light. Press "Continue" in the app to proceed to the next steps, which include setting your diffuser room and inserting your chosen fragrance.

Scan fragrance QR code

To install a Pura fragrance, you will need to scan the QR code on the fragrance vial. This will allow the Pura app to quickly capture the fragrance's information.

First, make sure you have downloaded and launched the Pura app on your smartphone and have created an account. Then, click "Set Up Diffuser" on the home screen of the app. Choose the type of diffuser you are setting up and follow the instructions to connect it to your Wi-Fi network. Once your diffuser is set up and connected to Wi-Fi, click "Add Fragrances" in the app. The app will then prompt you to allow camera access. Enable camera access to allow the app to scan QR codes and capture fragrance information.

Now, you are ready to scan your fragrance QR code. Remove the cap from your fragrance vial and hold the QR code up to the camera so that it is clearly visible. The app will automatically scan the code and capture the fragrance information. Once the scan is complete, the app will ask you to verify the fragrance. Check that the information is correct, and if so, select "Save and Continue".

If you prefer not to enable camera permissions, you can manually enter the code on the fragrance vial. On the back of each fragrance vial, there is a three- or four-digit code. Enter this code into the app manually, and the app will retrieve the fragrance information.

Insert fragrance

To install a fragrance in your Pura device, first, download and launch the Pura app on your smartphone. Sign in or create an account and begin setting up your Pura diffuser. Once you've signed in, you'll be taken to the home screen of your app. To set up a new diffuser, click the "Set Up Diffuser" button. Choose the type of diffuser you are setting up and place it in an upright position to avoid spills. Plug your diffuser into the desired outlet and wait for your diffuser to show a blue light.

After this, choose your desired WiFi network, enter the password, and press continue. Your diffuser will light up with a green light once it has been successfully connected to WiFi. Press continue in the app to proceed. Set your diffuser room by clicking the drop-down and selecting the room where the device is located. Wait for a potential update and press continue in the app.

Now, remove the cap from your fragrance vial and insert the fragrance into your Pura diffuser until it clicks. The Smart Vial will automatically detect the inserted scent. Press continue. Finally, review your settings and click Finish to complete your setup.
