It is the ultimate opening door for any upcoming players and teams, providing a direct connection to the ESL Pro League. The ESL Pro Tour combines the legacies of ESL, DreamHack, and WCS tournaments in a three-year partnership, offering more than $4 million in prize money across the tours and crowning the official StarCraft II World Champions. The circuit incorporates ESL and DreamHack tournaments, connected by a ranking system, into one narrative that builds towards the Masters Championships each year at Intel Extreme Masters Katowice.

The ESL Pro Tour for Dota 2 features seasons of DreamLeague, during which the world's best teams compete online for one to two weeks. Teams qualify for each DreamLeague via the EPT Ranking System, and each season offers a $1,000,000 total prize pool. After DreamLeague Season 23, the top eight teams with the highest EPT points will qualify for the Riyadh Masters 2024 at the Esports World Cup 2024.
