To get to Mt. Pyre, you need to go south from Route 121 to reach Route 122. From there, you can go south and then east to reach the entrance to the mountain. Mt. Pyre is a multi-level memorial structure built inside and outside a small mountain. The Lax Incense can be found on the third floor of Mt. Pyre's interior area.
To reach the third floor, you must first battle several Pokemon trainers on the first floor. Speak to the old woman to the southwest to obtain a Cleanse Tag. Give this to your lead Pokemon to keep wild Pokemon away. You will be stopped by one last trainer before reaching the stairs to the second floor. On the second floor, head to the northwest to grab a few items, including TM30 Shadow Ball and Medichamite Mega Stone.
Climb up two sets of stairs and head west. Before ascending the next set of stairs, climb down a staircase to the south. Go a few steps east to find TM61 Will-O-Wisp. After grabbing the item, continue up the mountain. Climb up two more sets of stairs, then go up another set of stairs to the east.
Once on the third floor, head southwest from the staircase you just exited from. You will find the Lax Incense just south of a Hex Maniac. The Lax Incense can also be purchased at the Slateport Market for $9,600.
