What You'll Learn
Installing Aroma on a Nintendo Wii U
Aroma is a homebrew environment for the Wii U. If you want to install Aroma on your Wii U, follow the steps below.
Step 1:
First, make sure you have Tiramisu installed on your console. Tiramisu is a custom firmware for the Wii U that allows you to run homebrew applications. You can download Tiramisu from https://tiramisu.foryour.cafe/.
Step 2:
Download Aroma from https://aroma.foryour.cafe/. The only requirement is that you can read and understand English. Follow the instructions on the website, which are written in layman's terms. Essentially, you will be copying files to your SD card and changing the default environment in the environment loader.
Step 3:
Don't forget to copy and paste the 01_sigpatches.rpx file from Tiramisu to Aroma. This is an important step, as your games may not load without it.
Step 4:
Use the guide provided by wiiu.hacks.guide for more detailed instructions: https://wiiu.hacks.guide/#/aroma/getting-started. This guide assumes you already have Tiramisu and the environment loader running.
Step 5:
Make sure to use the latest EnvironmentLoader, which is provided on the Aroma download page. Also, ensure that your SD card is not write-protected while using Aroma, otherwise, you may encounter error code 150-3030.

Installing Aroma on an Android device
Aroma is an advanced update for Android that allows you to customise your ROM installation. It stands for Android Rom Manifestation and was developed by XDA recognised developer 'amarullz'.
Benefits of Aroma
Aroma gives users the possibility to choose which mods and applications they want to install on their device. Sometimes we want a clean install, without bloatware, and sometimes we want the full package with all the apps and mods. With Aroma, you are your phone's master!
How to Install Aroma
Aroma is not an app that you can download from an app store. It is a tool that people can use to install a Custom ROM.
To integrate Aroma, you must be working on a ROM or Recovery Flashable project.
If you are using the Android Development Kit (ADK), select Projects > Tool-Scripts > Integrate Aroma Installer (to remove Aroma installer, select the ‘Remove aroma installer’ option).
A dialog box will appear for choosing a template. Select a template type and click on the ‘I agree, proceed to install’ option. Wait for the installation to complete.
Once done, you will be notified in the log view.
Now, open the aroma-config file from Project Viewer. Double-click on Solution > META-INF > com > google > android > aroma-config.
A new window will open in the editor. In the aroma-config window, you will find two tabs: Design and Code.
The Design tab will show you a summary of the file with visual elements and allow you to edit them easily. The Code tab will let you modify the file directly.
Tips for Editing Aroma-Config
- For a better view, close the solution explorer and property window.
- Hover over the elements to show the code in Tooltip.
- Click on an element to show its description and code in the editor window.
- Edit the code and click the save button. You can also press Ctrl + S or go to File > Save.
- You can move the element up, down or delete it by right-clicking on the selected element.
- Add modules by selecting from the Drop-down box and then clicking the Add (+) button.
- Do not add codes without adding #region …. #endregion block in Code view, or the designer will not load the element.
- Always keep in mind that the Design view is synchronized with the Code view. It means your main view is the Code view, so changes to the file will be decided by the text written in the Code view editor. The Design view is just a layer and does not make official changes to the original file.
