Ticket Sales

Tickets for IEM Cologne 2025 will go on sale in four waves, with the first wave of tickets going on sale on 24th October 2024. The minimum age to attend the event is 16.

Ticket Types

IEM Cologne 2024

The tournament began with a play-in stage, which took place from 7-9 August. The top eight teams from this stage advanced to the group stage, with two double-elimination format (GSL) groups. Each group consisted of eight teams, with the top three teams from each group advancing to the playoffs.

The group stage winners advanced to the semifinals, while the group stage runners-up advanced to the quarterfinals as the high seeds. The group stage third-place teams also advanced to the quarterfinals but as the low seeds. The quarterfinals, semifinals, and grand final were played in a single-elimination format, with the grand final being a best-of-five series.

The top six teams that made it to the final stage of the tournament were NaVi, Vitality, MOUZ, G2 Esports, sAw, and FaZe. Team Vitality ultimately won the tournament, defeating NaVi in the grand final with a score of 3-1. This marked the 20th HLTV MVP title for Mathieu 'ZywOo' Herbaut of Team Vitality.

IEM Season VIII - Cologne

The event featured a Pro Tournament and an Amateur Tournament. The Pro Tournament included six teams: two NA-LCS Teams, two EU-LCS Teams, one CIS qualifier, and one Turkish qualifier. The Amateur Tournament included four teams: one EU-LCS Relegation-Team and three EU qualifiers.

The Pro Tournament had a prize pool of €50,000, while the Amateur Tournament had a prize pool of €30,000.

Intel Extreme Masters Cologne 2024

The Intel Extreme Masters Cologne 2024 will feature a total prize pool of $1,000,000 USD, with the winning team taking home the lion's share. The tournament will follow a double-elimination format in the group stage, with eight teams in each of the two groups. The top three teams from each group will advance to the playoffs, with the group stage winners advancing directly to the semifinals. IEM Cologne 2023

The event offered attendees the opportunity to visit their favourite teams' booths, play games, and potentially meet special visitors. Teams with booths included Team Vitality, Natus Vincere, and Team BIG. Additionally, there were booths by Intel, Monster, White.Market, Knorr, DHL, and FACEIT, each offering unique activities and prizes.
