What I will say is that cranberry note is missed dearly: it's the one note that made this line feel like a Christmas scent. Without that cranberry note, Polo Red Parfum smells generic & safe, a common opening of citruses and lavender. I think they wanted this to be much different than the others so in removing the cranberry, they heightened the blood orange note and absinthe: Notes which make it smell more like an alcoholic drink than anything.
The best Polo Red imo. I own Parfum, EDT, EDP, & Extreme. I liked it so much when I sampled it that I bought the biggest bottle. To me, this smells like a musky black cherry candy. I prefer this as a skin scent over wearing this on clothes.
