Odd Incense is used for breeding Mr. Mime to get Mime Jr. eggs
Odd Incense is an item that can be used in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl to breed Mr. Mime for Mime Jr. eggs. This incense is highly desirable as it does not disappear after a single use. While Mr. Mime can breed with a Ditto to produce a Mime Jr. egg, Mr. Mime must be holding the Odd Incense for this method to work. This is because Mime Jr. has access to Charm and Healing Wish as egg moves, two moves that a Mr. Mime cannot hatch with. Therefore, if you are looking to have these specific moves as part of your Mr. Mime's set, you will need a female Mr. Mime holding the Odd Incense and another Pokémon in its egg group that knows Charm or Healing Wish to pass on to the Mime Jr.
To get the Odd Incense, you will need to navigate the Solaceon Ruins, just right of Solaceon Town in Pokémon BDSP. Trainers will need to make their way through the ruins following the directions spelled out by the Unknown at the back of the first room. Once you have the Odd Incense, give it to a Mr. Mime to hold, and wait for it to breed. You can find a Galarian Mr. Mime on Route 10, and they are relatively common, so you should see one soon.
It is important to note that you will only be able to find one Odd Incense throughout your Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl adventure, so do not sell it, especially if you have any Psychic-type Pokémon on your team.

Odd Incense is one of the nine different Incenses players can get in the Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl game. Incenses were first introduced alongside Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire, and many were brought into the series alongside the original Diamond and Pearl. Each of the nine incenses has its own specific purpose and an additional breeding purpose. They all have unlimited passive use and are held by a Pokémon. Odd Incense is one such incense that players can find in the game. It can be found in the Solaceon Ruins, just right of Solaceon Town. Trainers will have to navigate the ruins via the directions spelled out by the Unknown at the back of the first room. For example, the move 'Psychic' normally has a base power of 90 in battle, but if used by a Pokémon holding the Odd Incense, the move's power becomes 108. Furthermore, if a Psychic-type Pokémon were to use the move 'Psychic', it would receive an additional 50% damage bonus that stacks with the Odd Incense thanks to the STAB benefit, bringing 'Psychic's' base damage to 162. Additionally, the Odd Incense is also used for breeding in Pokémon BDSP. For instance, the Odd Incense is used to breed Mr. Mime for Mime Jr. eggs.
